HOW TO USE YOUR GMAIL ADRESS TO RESPOND TO PEOPLE EVEN WHEN YOU ARE NOT WITH YOUR PHONE OR COMPUTER- AUTORESPONDER

In Gmail, you may set up an autoresponder to react to incoming emails while you’re gone or unavailable to do so. Following are instructions for using your Gmail account as an autoresponder:

Click the gear button in the top right corner of your Gmail window to access your account.

From the dropdown menu, choose “Settings”.

Locate the “Vacation responder” section by scrolling down.

Select “Vacation responder on” from the menu.

Set the start and end dates for your autoresponder as well as the topic and body of the email.

Additionally, you have the option to limit the recipients of the autoresponder to those on your contact list and to send it only once to each sender.

At the bottom of the page, click “Save Changes”.
